What types of items can I send to you?

You can include everything from your child's art—saved photos and rock collections—to treasured love letters, family recipes, trophy collections, and more! Nothing is too big or too small for us to photograph! Our box is 60 cm x 41 cm x 19 cm. If you have larger products, please contact us to specify and arrange delivery.

 

Will I receive my art back?

All original art is returned to you unless otherwise specified.

 

How long do I have to return my box after I have ordered it?

Please RETURN your box WITHIN one to FOUR WEEKS from the date received to avoid a penalty fee @ R80.00 per month not received back at box2book.

Sending your box months later than the initial order date will affect the design and delivery time as the box will have to be placed at the back of the current month's list of projects.

 

What do I do if I want my art to follow a specific order in the book?

We photograph your artwork from top to bottom of the box, Top (1) to bottom (2+...). Please clearly number the BACK of each piece lightly in pencil. If there is writing/a drawing on the front and back of a page, that counts as two pieces. If you only want one side, please write "Not This Side" on the side you don't want included in your book.

 

Can I add text to the book?

Yes, section titles, chapters, and/or captions can be added to your book.

 

How long will it take to receive my printed book?

The typical turnaround time is about three to four weeks after your artbox arrives at our studio.

After approval of your book proof, you'll receive your book in 5 to 7 business days.

If you need your order by a certain date, please contact box2booksa@gmail.com to arrange a quicker option of approximately 2 weeks. 

 

Can I add additional pieces (pages) to the book I already ordered?

Each artwork is counted separately. One piece per page. We can only print even page numbers. 

Example: 30; 32; 34; 36; 38; 40. If additional items are added, please work on even numbers to simplify the process. An upgrade will then be added to your book at R33.00 per extra piece, which will be invoiced upon arrival. We will then start the process as soon as proof of payment is received.

 

Do you have bigger book sizes available?

We offer 20x20cm books, but we do have a 30x30cm / A4 / A3 book size option. Please reach out if you would like a price list.

 

What do I do if I have more than 100 pieces?

Our books range from 20 to 100 pages. If you would like to send more than 100 pieces, we will have to divide the art into more than one book by category, age, or grade.

 

Will my digitized art be available to download?

Yes, you will receive an email prompt to download your high-quality digitized art for FREE, as soon as we send you your printed book and original art back.

 

Is the courier cost included in the book purchase?

Yes, we will send you your empty box and the printed book for FREE. The ONLY extra courier cost you will have is when you send us the original artwork and box back for processing via Pudo (to locker - R60 / to door - R100), The Courier Guy, or PostNet. The return address will be stated on the forms inside the empty box. If you would like us to arrange pick-up via courier guy, please contact us at box2booksa@gmail.com with your invoice reference.

 

Is there bulk pricing available?

Yes, if you would like to print more than four copies of a book or if you would like to print more than three separate books, please email us to discuss pricing.

 

I don't want a book or mosaic print; I only want to digitize my artwork. Is this possible?

Yes, definitly! Items will be priced individually, with the option to fill your own box/bag or have us send you an empty box to fill. Please contact us at box2booksa@gmail.com.

 

Return Policy?

All sales are final. There are no replacements or changes once you approve your proof. The only exception is if your book arrives defective or damaged. If an item has arrived damaged, please take photographs of both the packaging and the product and email us right away so we can replace it.
